Fauquier High School students compete at American Legion 16th District Oratorical Contest

On Saturday, January 11th, Fauquier High School seniors Kendon Sheppard and Celeste Pollack represented American Legion Post 247 and American Legion Post 72, respectively at the American Legion 16th District Oratorical Contest held in Woodbridge, VA.
Celeste and Kendon placed 2nd and 3rd respectively, and each was awarded a $150 cash prize for their efforts. The entire membership of Posts 247 and 72 extend our heartiest congratulations to both students for the outstanding effort and performances that they demonstrated.
